Mrs. Priya & Mr. Aditya Sharma,
18 March, 2024This 3-day pilgrimage was a deeply spiritual experience! The Kamakhya Temple visit at sunrise was breathtaking - the energy of the main Shakti Peetha is indescribable. Our guide explained the significance of each of the Dasha Maha Vidya temples beautifully. Visiting all 10 forms of the Divine Mother in one yatra was truly transformative. The Hajo pilgrimage sites (Hayagriva Madhava Temple and Poa Mecca) showcasing the confluence of Hindu, Buddhist, and Muslim traditions was fascinating. Hotel Kiranshree was clean and conveniently located. The traditional Assamese thali meals were delicious and sattvic. Perfect short spiritual getaway from Bangalore!
Mr. Ramesh Iyer,
02 April, 2024Excellent value for money at Rs. 9,999! As a solo pilgrim, I felt very safe and well taken care of. The Kamakhya Temple darshan was organized efficiently - our guide knew the best times to avoid crowds. Learning about the Tantric traditions and the significance of the Nilachal Hill was enlightening. The Dasha Maha Vidya circuit covering Kamakhya, Tara, Tripura Sundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Chinnamasta, Bhairavi, Dhumavati, Bagalamukhi, Matangi, and Kamalatmika temples was comprehensive. Hajo's Hayagriva Madhava Temple and the scenic Brahmaputra views were bonus highlights. The AC transport was comfortable for the hill climbs. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a authentic Shakti Peetha experience!
Mrs. Anjali Desai & Family,
25 February, 2024We took our elderly parents on this pilgrimage and it was perfect for their age and mobility. The 3-day duration was ideal - not too rushed, not too long. Kamakhya Temple's main sanctum and the cave temple where the yoni of Goddess Sati is worshipped left us all in awe. The temple priests' blessings and explanations about the Ambubachi Mela traditions enriched our understanding. Visiting each of the 10 Dasha Maha Vidya shrines on the Nilachal and Kamakhya hills felt like completing a sacred circuit. Hajo's multi-religious heritage was a beautiful lesson in syncretism for our kids. Hotel Kiranshree staff was accommodating with our dietary requirements. The evening Brahmaputra Ghat visit was peaceful. A well-organized family pilgrimage!
Ms. Meera Krishnan,
10 January, 2024As a spiritual seeker and scholar of Shakta traditions, this pilgrimage exceeded my expectations. The Kamakhya Temple complex is a living embodiment of Tantric Shakti worship. Our guide was knowledgeable about the esoteric aspects and the historical significance of this ancient seat of worship. The systematic darshan of all 10 Dasha Maha Vidya temples - each representing a different aspect of the Divine Feminine - was meticulously planned. I particularly appreciated visiting Tara Temple, Tripura Sundari, and Chinnamasta, which are less known but equally powerful. The Hajo circuit including Hayagriva Madhava Temple and Poa Mecca showcasing religious harmony was inspiring. The morning aarti at Kamakhya was soul-stirring. Hotel accommodations were basic but adequate. For serious pilgrims seeking Shakti darshan, this is unmissable!
